this year’s event was a great success for me, thanks to the weather, my new square app for iphone, and some new faces in attendance. unfortunately, i didn’t get to walk around and see the other vendors but i heard a lot of positive things from those who did 
i also didn’t get a chance to post anything about my trip to Richmond, VA for their craft mafia’s annual Spring Bada-Bing event! here is a photo of my table there (along with the other out-0f-staters):
i did get to peruse the show in Richmond and ended up trading with Cindy (aka the cupcakery girl) to get awesome little felt flower hair clips- i can’t get enough! click HERE to check out her shop! also, after sitting next to Ned Drummond all day and hearing about her process of letterpress on leather to adorn flasks, i ended up investing in one of them as well. click HERE to see her site and HERE to shop her store!

in other news, i finally got to finish going through and editing the photos from my trip to SXSW in Austin in March of this year! originally, i was planning on composing a short Austin travel guide post, but thinking back on the trip, most of what we did was related specifically to the SXSW festival. however, i do have one fantastic food recommendation: Torchys Tacos. their food is unique and absolutely amazing!
