exit343design holiday 2014 show schedule!

This year has been a whirlwind- I can’t believe the holidays are just a few weeks away! exit343design took a bit of a backseat over the summer while I tended to things in my personal life (eight weddings, moving, etc), worked on a couple of time consuming freelance projects for friends (wedding invitations!), and worked on adjusting to the 9-5 life (first time ever in my life!) . However, I’m BACK. And I’m kicking off my art show season THIS SUNDAY  by returning to the the Trenton Punk Rock Flea Market at the Historic Roebling Machine Shop (675 South Clinton Avenue) from 10-5pm. Here’s the official poster with all of the details:

The weekend before Thanksgiving, Yardsale Press and I are headed up to Kingston, New York to be first time vendors at the Hudson Valley Hullabaloo, an event organized in part by our friends at Wishbone Letterpress. I’m not going to lie- I’m pretty pumped to be a part of this show! As makers themselves, the organizers have really come up with an excellent event for all ages. In addition to 50+ artists and craftspeople, there will be a photobooth, a Tintype photos (!!!), a DIY gift-wrap station for dressing up your purchases, plus booze + snacks from local vendors. Hootie hoo! We’ll be there both days (Saturday, November 22nd + Sunday, November 23rd) at the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center in Kingston, New York. The event runs from 10-5 on Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday. Here’s the official poster with all of the info:

 As of right now, I’ll have two weekends off (Thanksgiving and the following weekend) and then it’s back-to-back shows in Philadelphia. The weekend kicks off on Saturday, December 13th as a returning vendor to Crafty Balboa in South Philly! It’s been a while since I’ve been back and I’m pretty pumped to be a part of such a talented group of vendors! The show is at the SS Neumann Goretti High School at 1736 South Tenth Street in South Philadelphia from 11-5pm. The first 50 customers get a free tote bag filled with goodies and handmade swag!

The next day, Sunday December 14th, I’m headed across town to vend at the ever-popular R5 Punk Rock Flea Market. It’s held twice a year at the THE PUNK ROCK FLEA MARKET-DOME at 461 N. 9th St. in Philly. It’s held the whole weekend, but with different vendors each day. Come see me on Sunday from 10-5pm!

My final show of the season is a particularly exciting one this year- I’ll be running my own three-day pop-up shop at the Voorhees Town Center in Voorhees, New Jersey! It’s called ‘Shop Up Pop Up’ and it’s a unique event that’s running from November 14th up until the weekend before Christmas (the weekend I’ll be there!). I’ll be setting up shop with all my standard exit343design gift-able goods, but since the space will allow it, I’ll be bringing along some extra special products that don’t normally make the rounds with me! In addition to my work, I’ll be splitting the space with The Chocolate Clinic, a vendor who markets themselves as a ‘chocolate curator’- I mean come on, I’m sold already haha.

So PLEASE come see me at the Voorhees Town Center at 2120 Voorhees Town Center in Voorhees Township, NJ. I’ll be there for three days holding down the fort on:

Friday, December 19th from 6-9pm

Saturday, December 20th from 3-9pm

Sunday, December 21st from 12-6pm

exit343design comes to Avalon, NJ!

Hello friends and followers! I’ve been M.I.A for quite a while now, but for good reason- I’ve been hitting the studio hard getting ready for the upcoming holiday shopping season! (see the side bar on the right for my schedule this season) Additionally, an exciting last-minute opportunity came my way this month and I decided to go ahead and seize it; I’m so pleased to announce that exit343design now has a permanent brick + mortar presence in the Serendipity Shops of Avalon in Avalon, New Jersey! This space differs from other retailers I work with in that this is actually my own little space that I manage and maintain on my own. Last night, I trekked down to install just in time for their big Black Friday sales event that’s coming up quickly. The store is open 10-5 until January, weekends from January-March, and 10-10pm every day during the spring/summer season. So please, if you’re in the area, stop in and see what’s happening! A big thank you to Nicole and Barbara for this wonderful opportunity!

NEW items for 2014!

hello all! last week i spent some serious time photographing and listing some new products and variations on popular items i have in my Etsy shop for 2014. here’s a taste of some of those new items- follow the links to find out more about them 🙂

my popular “home sweet home” print has been printed in three different ready-to-frame (aka no matte needed) sizes and color ways. this is just one of a few 🙂
